CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) assesses a contractor’s management of health and safety against current legislative requirements. If found to be compliant, then the contractor becomes accredited to the scheme, permitting them to display the CHAS logo on all of their documentation and marketing material.
Here in the North East local authorities and many other organisations recognise CHAS accreditation as evidence that a company has reached an acceptable standard of health and safety management which is a vital tool when submitting tenders for future contracts in addition to minimising risk of injury to your employees and others effected by your activities
